Game Design from Zero is a complete beginner-friendly course designed to help you build the practical skills needed to become a Junior Game Designer.

Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamentals of game design, core loops, player experience, game mechanics, systems thinking, balancing, progression, level design, prototyping, playtesting, and professional game documentation.

You will work on hands-on projects including paper prototypes, game systems, balance sheets, greyboxed levels, digital prototypes, game analysis, and a final capstone project. You will also use tools such as Unity, ProBuilder, Google Sheets, and Visual Scripting to turn design ideas into playable experiences.

The course goes beyond theory. You will learn how to analyze games like a designer, test and improve your ideas through iteration, create professional design documents, and present your work clearly.
